So its 11:30 pm on christmas eve and I'm waiting patiently to go to bed. I have been busy all day helping my mom make christmas cookies (i got to frost the sugar cookies). Now I must find a way to cover and protect them all from the dreaded dog and cat hair flying throughout the air. Its a really tough job but I know I can do it!!!
I have decided to take a few needed days off from anything medically related, although I did tell my mom today that one particular batch of cookies looked eerily similiar to a teratoma without the hair (one sugar cookie snowman had engulphed another in the baking process). I do have alot to review and I plan on starting Thursday with some Biochem since I struggled the most with those questions on the BSCE.
What is the BSCE you say?? Its a comprehensive test at the end of year 1 that tests your knowledge of embryo, anatomy, biochem, histology, parasitology, genetics, neurology, physiology and immunology. Of course I did well on the questions pertaining to this semester's classes, but embryo and biochem did give me some trouble. So, that is where my time will be spent in the next 3 weeks before I return to the "rock".
